We also have rooms for handicap (bathrooms and ramps). Monteverde Cloud Forest Lodge is located in Costa Rica's northern Tilarán Mountain Range, province of Puntarenas at an altitude of 5000 feet above the sea level where the continental divide between the Caribbean and the Pacific is located. Local temperature from 15 to 26 degrees.
Located in a quiet & secure location, surrounded by 70 acres of private property with primary and secondary forest, Cloud Forest Lodge offers 5 kms of private trails where you can find more than 180 species of birds.
Cloud Forest Lodge offers the most amazing views of the Cloud Forest and Gulf of Nicoya. Right from our Restaurant and Bar you can enjoy beautiful and unique sunsets.
While staying at Cloud Forest Lodge you can take full advantage of all the beauty and wonder of Monteverde. You can visit the Cloud Forest Reserve, a butterfly garden, go horseback riding, take the hanging bridges tour, visit the cheese factory.
